Photo Scavenger Hunt :: February 2021 #4 ... Delicious

Hi there everyone πŸ˜ƒ

It’s Friday which means it’s time for the weekly link up hosted by Kate over at I live, I love, I craft, I am me.

The word for this week is ... Delicious πŸ˜‹

I have been browsing back through old photos and was struggling to come up with something for today so was thinking that I might have to give it a miss ... but then, this morning I was presented with two options.

Firstly ... one of our favourite breakfasts. We call them ‘flip-dibby-dovers’ also known as breakfast quesadillas ...

Not long after we’d finished eating and I was just having a read before getting back into the housework then my lovely friend Jo turned up with these from Only Rosie’s ...

... which most definitely fit the Bill for this week’s word πŸ˜ƒ

  1. What a lovely friend you have. I too have a similar friend who often gifts me edible delights. Last time it was some chocolate eggs, small but perfectly formed, each with a filling. I am hoping I can resist them until it is Easter but.....

  2. Your breakfast is so different to ours, which is basically cereal/porridge & toast & tea. The cup cakes are beautifully decorated & a nice surprise from your friend. Take care & hugs.

    1. Thank you Susan ... when I say breakfast what I really mean is our first meal of the day, which since retirement often seems to occur round about lunch time πŸ˜‚

  3. Your quesadillas look very tempting but its the gorgeous cup cakes that I really fancy right now with a cup of coffee. x

    1. The cup cakes were particularly tasty ... all the more so for being an unexpected treat ... we are going to have to get out of our daily cake treat habit once lockdown is over or I won’t be able to fit through the front door πŸ˜‚

    1. They were beautiful but most definitely not too good to eat ... I am a bit of a sucker for cake, especially when there is butter cream πŸ˜ƒ

    1. Haha ... it is very easy ... just beat a couple of eggs and tip in frying pan like making an omelette. When starting to set place the wrap on top and when fully set flip over. Then sprinkle with cheese, add ham and fold in half. Finally, flip again and there you have it ... a scrummy flip-dingy- dover. Enjoy πŸ˜‹
