It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted, which is unusual for me. We’re all ok … just not been a lot happening worth talking about really.
And … as for the weather … it’s been a bit of a shocker. We’ve had snow, hail, loads of rain and the tiniest bit of warmer weather and sunshine.
Those warm days lulled the magnolia into a real false sense of security and for just one morning … not even a full day … she looked pretty spectacular …
There are still plenty of blooms to fall but they are no longer the pristine luminescent white …
It seems such a shame that we now have to wait another full year to see her at her best again … but she will throw a lovely shade over the summer months … assuming we do get to see some proper sunshine at some point 🌞

She must have looked lovely for that one day. Hopefully Spring will morph into summer & you get some decent weather. Ours has been very, very strange too & it blew a hooley last night. We've had days when we needed summer clothes, then the next warmer ,not quite winter woollies. Weird. I must get back into blogging too. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteShe certainly did. I’m just glad we were here to to see it. Our other trees blossom a bit later on so they tend to stand a better chance with the weather having settled down a bit 😀.
