Photo Scavenger Hunt July #2 :: Grill

Hi there everyone πŸ˜€

Today for Astrid's weekly photo scavenger hunt we are celebrating all things ... grill ... more commonly known to us as BBQ.

I had a quick trawl back through the archives for this one and found some photos from a particularly tasty looking BBQ in our garden on a sunny day in July 2018.

It looks like we were enjoying halloumi, our real favourite, and a jerk chicken with a pineapple salsa. Certainly looks tasty ...
... and very colourful ...

The salsa has become a bit of a favourite too ... though sometimes we switch the pineapple for mango, which is every bit as tasty.

If you fancy giving it a go ... here's the recipe πŸ˜€

  1. It looks delicious! I think I can even smell the food. I've not made a salsa for a long, long time.

    1. Have to say I’d rather be sitting out there eating this now than cutting back the deutzia … which is a hot and messy job. Flower petals everywhere πŸ˜‚

    3. I know what you mean about hardy geraniums … they just spill over the edges of all the borders … I’ve been brutal with mine today too … all looks a bit bare for now but will soon start sprouting again πŸ˜ƒ

    1. We have a heatwave forecast for this weekend so I think the BBQ will be getting plenty of activity πŸ˜ƒ
