As soon as I saw the word for this week's photo scavenger hunt with Astrid I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use ... it was just a case of finding it.
The word for this week is ... 'Flag'.
The first thing that always comes to mind when thinking of flags is this image taken on the beach in Crackington Haven ... the place of my favourite sunset in North Cornwall ...
I can't remember when I took it, but it is probably about 10 years ago and I'm guessing that it wasn't the warmest of days ... as the lifeguards look pretty wrapped up against the cold.
Next week's word is 'Summer' so it I'm sure I will almost have too much to pick from so narrowing my choice down will be the challenge 😀

I feel cold just looking at your picture. I can feel the wind whipping up the sand and hear the waves crashing on the shore but I love it. The red and yellow of the flag match the red jackets and yellow sand. Lovely picture. Reminds me of wonderful holidays in Northumberland when the weather changed.
ReplyDeleteIt does look a big brisk. We have just booked a holiday in Northumberland for early December. It’s gonna be windy, cold and wild, I bet … but it will also be nice and quiet and lovely curling up in the warmth of a cosy cottage 😃
DeleteGosh they do look cold but what a view. Nice flag too! I'm struggling with the word summer but I've a couple of ideas!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly do … yes I’m not sure where I’m going to go next week … there are just so many options … I may just go with garden as of now 😃
ReplyDeleteWell done with your flag photo & I may have to do a double up this Friday due to our i'net problems last week. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely spot for a photo, even though it does look a little too cold and breezy for them to have to rescue anyone! At least it was a bright day and you can certainly see them in red.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly did ‘pop’ against the background 😃
