Martin and I are so not 'dog people', so this week's challenge by Astrid wasn't the easiest for me. That's not to say we don't like dogs ... just that we are definitely more in favour of cats ... far less effort 😂
Saying that we do have a few doggy friends ...
This is Jake ... the soppiest cockerpoo ever ... and very accommodating when I needed a model to demonstrate the dog bandanas I started making a while back ...
If you've followed my blog for a while you may have spotted Charlie from time to time too ... the loveliest and best behaved springer spaniel ever ... he really is just one of the gang, and I think he enjoys our annual catch ups as much as the rest of us ...

I think Jake is gorgeous, I have always loved spaniels, slightly nutty, but adorable. As for Jake and his bandanna he is just too cute. Love his frame too. x
ReplyDeleteWe always joke that Jake is more like a cat than a dog … in some ways. He was a very willing model for my bandanas … he’s used to Jess and Lauren dressing him up in ridiculous outfits 😂

DeleteSeems we are both not 'dog people'! But we both found some dog pictures. Beloved sometimes says he'd like a dog but when I remind him about walking it in all weathers, fleas (beloved is very easily bitten and has bad reactions to the bites), vet's bills etc etc, he decides not to get one.
ReplyDeleteI always used to suffer with those kind of bites too … it was a bit of a nightmare when we had our two cats. We are pet free now … not sure I will ever have anymore but we get the occasional visitor to make a fuss of 😃
DeleteOK, I am a doggy person or more like an animal lover of all sorts, but understand other peoples preferences too. The springer spaniel is lovely. Next week is what..........bucket?

It must be so difficult for you still being in lockdown … it must feel,like it’s been going on forever. We seem to be almost back to normal for now … though we are still avoiding very busy and crowded places. And yes, bucket has me scratching my head too 😃
